It’s tough on the high street just now, and it looks like we are heading for a consolidation period in the pub sector.
Regent Inns have been part of my working life for some time and I will be incredibly sad if they cease to be. It happens though, when the economy tightens up it’s the leisure spend that gets hit first; it’s no surprise that pubs are suffering.
More as it happens, but it’s going to get ugly on the high street.Â
